Career and Passion come together.jpg

Hello Everyone,

Over the past few days I have really been thinking about this and feel very fortunate that my 9 - 5 rather 8-6 has strong components of community service, philanthropy and meeting the needs of others.  Recently at a Scholarship awards, I had the honor to perform with Harvey Estrada and his Ensemble from Compton College.

What about you???...Are you doing what you love?  If not, take time to consider how you can coordinate your passion and your career.

How are you combining your career with your passion?

Ciao,

Latrice

Harry Connick Jr. Delights Audiences On His New Daytime Talk Show

Harry Connick Jr.  the New Orleans born award-winning jazz singer and musician, has been seen on Broadway, film and television as an actor but now he has a new daytime talk show entitled “Harry”

Harry Connick Jr.'s new daytime show Harry transcends the typical talk show format with his lively mix of music and personality.

Harry Connick Jr.'s new daytime show Harry transcends the typical talk show format with his lively mix of music and personality.

I had an opportunity to see the show during opening week and enjoyed it.  The segment featured “show & tell” with wild animals, an interview with and performance from Gospel recording artist Kim Burrell.  The show is spontaneous and unstructured but has delightful segments (i.e., Share your #Stalkies and Hey Harry) that allow you a chance to see Harry interact with the audience up close and personal in his charming, southern gentleman kind of way.

In true Harry Connick Jr. fashion, the show is moved along nicely with a fun music segue from Harry and the Harry Band.
