In November 2017 I lost my father. A thought and idea that no “Daddy’s girl” ever could believe would be a reality. Tears are never far from my eyes when I recall the childhood memories, parties, music, concerts, lessons, lectures and laughter. My father was not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but, supportive of his family, loyal to his friends and down for his children.
I share this quote, as it captures the stage I am presently in…
As I began to see my father age and knew that the end was too close for comfort, I wrote a song entitled ‘Superman’ as a tribute of love.

Learn something new everyday!
As I draft my schedule for this week, I have several projects pulling on my time and focus. The projects are a mix of ones that I am leading, some are collaborative in which I am a contributor but we differ in opinion in the execution.
For a few days I have had to pray and been frustrated about the projects in which there are differing opinions but this morning I am surrendered. I will speak my truth in regards to the roll-out but, I have decided to also be a learner.
This quote is my Monday Motivation, a great reminder to be careful what I lend my power too. Learn from my co-workers but to learn something on purpose, the world is bigger than my desk and my to-do-list.
Let’s make today count.
"A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost." — Marion Garretty
As I think of my sisters this quote made me smile. Growing up with these ladies Vanessa (to my left) and Valerie (to my left) was and is a delight and a joy.
The picture in white is a Throwback from the time that my sisters treated me to a birthday trip to Miami. Such sweet time, plane drama, airport breakdown, warm tropical rain showers, laughing until we cried, yummy food, all white party…hey the rest stays in Florida!
Do you have sisters? How about a little ‘show and tell’?
This morning I woke up wanting to share something good. Here is a quote that inspired me.
